Training & testing methods

We provide basic or introductory courses, as well as periodic refresher training and re-certification of welders in safety regulations. We also offer consulting services in the field of welding. Non-destructive testing (NDT) is performed as part of our defect inspection services.

Defectoscopy – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Methods

Visual Testing (VT) – direct method; basic inspection used to detect surface defects and deviations

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) – detection of surface defects using colored powder and magnetic yoke; applicable only to ferromagnetic materials

Penetrant Testing (PT) – detection of surface defects using a colored penetrant; suitable for both magnetic and non-magnetic metals

Radiographic Testing (RT) – detection of internal volumetric defects (especially in welds, components, pipelines, and welder testing); performed with a 160 kV X-ray lamp

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) – detection of internal volumetric and planar defects and measurement of wall thickness in metallic materials
